The behavior and attitude of the educator or a teacher is very important in shaping the character of the children because they learn by imitating their teachers and parents. Teaching young learners every teachers need to encourage good character in students by emphasizing on hard work, tolerance, honesty and integrity. Especially in teaching young children teachers need to focus on different element like creative writing, collage, art projects etc and carrying out projects on one of the topic for each month i.e. focusing on one of the specific value with the help of making projects.

Pre-primary teacher training is required as it helps the teachers to shape the character of each student and to encourage them to find a good role model. Children gets a vast number of role models to choose from as they get exposed to many influences everyday like stories of superheroes, fantasy land, films. It is the duty of the teachers to encourage the children to find good role models and discuss on that topic so that they will get a good moral compass. Teacher can follow reward system because it can play an important role in building students character. For morally correct behavior and good performance reward system can be followed but little bit of punishment is also necessary to make the students understand between the right and wrong. Both these reward and punishment can play an important role in developing the character of children.
Conducting different programs in school is also an essential means of building character in children. Volunteering programs like charities where high and middle school students can take part will help them about the social awareness. Cultural programs encourage the student about the extracurricular activities because it is also necessary for character development. Every teacher training course emphasizes on the involvement of parents along with the teachers to build the character of children. Good behavior is required from parents also as most of the children learn from imitation.
In standard educational practice student’s moral development is inevitable. Teachers need give importance in establishing a caring and respectful relationship with the students. Supportive environment in the classroom will help the students with ethical character development. Teachers need to arrange some non-academic session in schools which will help the students to build social awareness. Teacher need to encourage the children to cultivate expertise in academic as well as in non academic field which will help the student to develop ethical social life.
